The role
Vow is seeking a passionate Technician to join our Manufacturing team, responsible for production and factory operations. This role is ideal for someone early in their career or recent graduate, offering a valuable opportunity to learn and apply the latest techniques in cultured meat manufacturing as we transition from research to application. You should be diligent, detail-oriented, and committed to producing high-quality products. The work requires careful attention to sensitive processing systems and strict quality control.

The experience you will bring :
* A relevant degree with some prior work experience, including internships or industry experience in retail or hospitality
* Knowledge of HACCP plans, Quality Management Systems (ISO9001, ISO13485 or similar), or GMP standards is a plus but not mandatory
* Experience with cell culture (adherent or suspension) is a plus but not required
* Strong technical competence and scientific awareness
* Flexibility to work shifts and weekends as needed
* Ability to work effectively within a team

You will;
* Manage the manufacturing process, from thawing cells to large-scale culture, maturation, and harvest
* Monitor batches to ensure quality and safety standards are met
* Operate bioreactors and large-scale processing equipment
* Follow and improve Vow’s quality management systems and SOPs
* Document processes and maintain compliance for quality assurance and reproducibility
* Record deviations and track batch metrics to support quality control
* Perform general lab maintenance and cleanliness tasks
* Collaborate with the team to implement process changes accurately
What success looks like in this role :
* Successfully integrate into the team within the first month and acquire the skills to operate routine processes independently
* Within three months, operate a 2000L bioreactor process smoothly and make necessary adjustments
* By the end of the first year, help scale the pilot plant for production and assist in manufacturing large quantities of product for sale
