Clinical Nurse (Mental Health)
We are seeking skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurses to join our multidisciplinary teams in the Community Treatment Teams within the South Metropolitan Mental Health Service.
The successful candidates will provide comprehensive evidence-based nursing recovery focused care, ensuring patient safety and quality of care in community settings. They will practice within the scope of their professional expertise and adhere to the Nursing and Midwifery Board's Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality nursing care as part of a multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of treatment plans, ensuring a patient-centered approach that promotes recovery and well-being.
* Facilitate open communication between patients, families, and healthcare professionals, promoting a culture of transparency and respect.
Requirements:
* A current nursing registration and a valid working visa or Australian citizenship/residency.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Proven experience in mental health nursing, with a strong understanding of recovery-focused care principles.
