Job Description
Northstar Barossa is a privately owned and operated car dealership in Nuriootpa located in the heart of the picturesque Barossa region, representing Nissan, GWM, MG and pre owned vehicles. Experience with Nissan, GWM or MG vehicles is preferred but not essential. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Automotive Technician with diagnostic and electrical skills to join our growing team.
You will receive a competitive hourly rate at $38 to $48 per hour for your skills and experience plus travel allowance is negotiable. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of automotive experience. The position will suit someone with a passion for the industry and a good eye for detail.
Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include;
* Performing mechanical services and repair work
* Carrying out warranty work
* Carrying out repair orders to the manufacturers & dealership requirements
* Providing a high level of customer satisfaction through accurate timely repairs and service
To be successful in this role you will;
* Be a team player and also able to work autonomously
* Have strong attention to detail and accuracy in your work
* Strong diagnostic and repair skills
* Electrical skills
* An understanding of WHS requirements
* Excellent time management and communication skills
* Hold a trade certificate in automotive repair
* Have Australian work rights
