About the Role

Fivetran is building data pipelines for the modern data stack. We are looking for a proven leader to join our Sales Engineering team to oversee the Enterprise Sales Engineering team. As a Senior Manager of Sales Engineering, you will manage a team of approximately 6‐8 Sales Engineers and drive the technical win in sales of our SaaS platform. This full‐time position is remote in France, Ireland or the UK and reports to the Director of Sales Engineering, EMEA.

What You'll Do

* Implement and optimize strategies to maximize revenue growth.
* Ensure direct reports provide timely and accurate technical leadership in the sales process.
* Coach and develop team members to maximize performance and prepare them for future roles.
* Document opportunities to drive prospect engagements and communicate within the team.
* Use data to capture continuous forecast improvement.
* Win technically within key accounts and act as an escalation point for key deals in the pre‐sales process.
* Collaborate with Sales Leadership on strategies and tactics to win new and retain customers.
* Communicate progress and forecast technical wins to leadership.
* Present complex solutions to C‐level executives.
* Provide market feedback to optimize sales strategy and positioning.
* Work with product management and engineering teams to prioritize enhancements and technical issues.

Skills & Experience

* Experience as a Senior or Lead Sales Engineer or in Enterprise Sales Engineering for a SaaS platform.
* Best‐in‐class communication skills.
* Superior technical skills with deep knowledge of databases, replication, cloud warehouses, and APIs.
* Proven ability to collaborate with a peer Sales Director to drive successful sales outcomes.
* Experience leading a team of technically‐minded direct reports.
* Coach‐first mentality.
