Administration Team Leader - Allied Health – Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service
As the Administration Team Leader - Allied Health you will manage, plan, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate the administration staff within Allied Health Outpatients and Directorate to deliver and ensure efficient patient services through performance management, development, training, operational capability and meeting service deliverables.
About The Team
The allied health team at QCH are a dynamic and proactive multidisciplinary team who support the medical and surgical teams within the hospital by providing ancillary services in conjunction with a patient's medical care.
About The Role
In this role you will coach and support others to deliver for children, young people and families (Leader of Others) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values. Your contribution will include:
Responsibilities
- Manage administrative staff responsible to this position including preparation of rosters, management of workloads, organisation of relief, performance coaching and development, training and assessments, and ensuring duties are completed efficiently and within timeframes.
- Provide efficient, effective, and confidential administrative service including co-ordinating task allocation and operational outcomes for the Administration team in collaboration with the Director Administration Services, Clinical Directors and Leads for services across Allied Health specialties.
