School Chaplain and Counsellor
The role of the School Chaplain and Counsellor is to support the spiritual, social, and emotional wellbeing of students.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting students in a safe and non-judgmental environment
* Counselling students individually and in small groups
* Developing and implementing whole school approaches to wellbeing
* Working collaboratively with staff, students, and parents to create a positive school culture
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Certificate IV in Youth Work, Pastoral Care, or Chaplaincy and Pastoral Care
* An understanding of Catholic values and principles
* Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
* The ability to work effectively in a team
* Proficiency in the use and integration of ICT skills
