We are seeking a motivated and experienced Car Sales Consultant to join the team. This role is ideal for someone with 2-3 years' experience in the Japanese used car market who is looking to take the step in their career with a company specialising in tailored car sourcing and direct imports from Japan.
As a Car Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for driving sales performance by delivering a personalised, high-quality experience to both individual and business clients.
Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Welcome and assist customers, identify their needs, and recommend suitable vehicles.
- Product Expertise: Provide accurate and detailed information on vehicle features, specifications, and benefits.
- B2B & B2C Sales: Manage both retail and wholesale (dealer) clients, leveraging direct imports to achieve sales goals.
- Sales Negotiation: Confidently negotiate pricing and finance options in line with customer budgets.
- Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
- Database Management: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, leads, and inventory.
- Custom Vehicle Sourcing: Support clients in sourcing and importing vehicles from Japan to match preferences and budgets.
- Market Insight: Stay up to date with market trends and competitor activity to deliver value to clients.
- Customer Relationship Building: Develop long-term relationships through outstanding service and product knowledge.
About You
- 2-3 years' experience in car sales, ideally within the Japanese used vehicle sector
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Familiarity with Japanese car brands and models highly regarded
- Good understanding of the local automotive market
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
