Join to apply for the Halls Maintenance Operative role at Cyber Security Academy Southampton.We have an exciting opportunity within our Halls Maintenance Team for a Multi-Skilled Operative to join our established team to carry out planned, reactive maintenance, and minor small works on our Halls of Residences sites.Main Duties IncludeUndertake emergency, planned, and general maintenance works such as decoration, minor plumbing including drainage, flooring and furnishing repairs, minor brick and plaster repairs, and carpentry.Investigate faults and use initiative to find solutions and make repairs on internal and external building fabric.Complete works to a high standard, following industry best practices and Health & Safety procedures including risk assessments and method statements.Use mobile handheld devices to update work status in real-time, capturing hours worked and materials used.What We Are Looking ForThe successful candidate will hold a City and Guilds qualification and/or minimum NVQ 2 qualification, having served an apprenticeship in one primary core building trade and capable of undertaking duties in at least two other secondary building-related trades. Experience in maintenance and repairs in a live environment, a customer-focused 'right first time' attitude, and flexibility are essential. Familiarity with CAFM systems, H&S legislation, risk assessments, method statements, and COSHH assessments is preferred.
