Key Responsibilities

* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and industry-aligned training for CPC30620 Certificate III in Painting and Decorating
* Conduct competency-based assessments in accordance with training package requirements and assessment conditions
* Provide clear, constructive, and timely feedback to students to support their learning and skill development
* Ensure training and assessment practices comply with the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs)
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessment outcomes, and progress
* Support students with diverse learning needs, including those facing barriers to education and training
* Collaborate with academic and compliance teams to ensure training materials remain current and compliant
* Integrate current industry practices, WHS requirements, and workplace expectations into delivery
* Use digital platforms (e.g. aXcelerate, Microsoft Teams, Zoom) for blended and online delivery where required

Essential Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

* CPC30620 Certificate III in Painting and Decorating
* or equivalent trade qualification with current vocational competence
* TAE40116 or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or approved equivalent)

* Recent and relevant industry experience in painting and decorating (minimum 1–3 years, current)

* Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation, safe work practices, and industry standards
* Demonstrated experience delivering training and assessment in a VET environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse learner cohorts
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
* Strong computer skills, including experience with:
* Microsoft Office / Office 365
* Online learning and virtual delivery platforms (e.g. Zoom, Microsoft Teams)

Highly Regarded

* Experience delivering training to international students
* Experience supporting learners with language, literacy, numeracy, or learning barriers
* Familiarity with ASQA audits, compliance evidence, and RTO quality assurance processes
* Experience delivering practical training in simulated or real workplace environments
