What this opportunity involves
JLL is seeking an experienced Senior Property Manager to join our property management team in Canberra. This role provides an exciting opportunity to manage a premium commercial portfolio across the ACT region.
As Senior Property Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall performance of our ACT portfolio, including buildings in Belconnen, Braddon, Phillip and Canberra City. Working closely with our client Elanor Portfolio, you'll lead a team of property professionals while maximising asset performance and stakeholder satisfaction.
An overview of the role
* Lead and mentor a team of 3 Facilities Managers and a shared Administration Manager
* Ensure client revenue and profit targets are achieved through proactive budget management
* Develop strategic plans for property assets, focusing on positioning, leasing and capital works
* Manage property stakeholders, including tenants, contractors and the local community
* Drive leasing campaigns and negotiate lease renewals
* Implement comprehensive risk management practices and ensure compliance
* Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting
* Oversee capital expenditure projects and represent client interests

* Minimum 7 years' experience in property / asset management, preferably with high-quality office assets
* Real Estate Licence relevant to ACT is required
* Proven track record in office lease negotiations
* Strong leadership abilities with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
* High level of financial aptitude and commercial acumen
* Demonstrated ability to add value through capital works, leasing strategies and space optimisation
* Experience preparing detailed asset plans, complex budgets and comprehensive reports
* Intimate knowledge of the commercial office sector
