The Opportunity
Our client is a leading infrastructure group with projects and operations across Australia.
As a Senior Contracts Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the administration of all subcontractor and supplier agreements, ensuring they are delivered within approved cost parameters while supporting the achievement of financial and operational targets.
This role places a strong emphasis on pre-award activities, particularly the preparation and delivery of tender packages.
The Role
As Senior Contracts Administrator, your key responsibilities will include:
* Managing the administration of all subcontractor and supplier contracts effectively.
* Overseeing financial and site office administration.
* Supporting the preparation and review of monthly project reports.
* Assisting with contractual matters, including identifying, assessing, and submitting variations and claims.
Your Background
* Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management / Economics / Law / Business with around 5 – 7 years of relevant experience.
* Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to build high performing teams.
* Detailed knowledge and demonstrated experience in project management, planning, budgeting, and cost control.
* Strong computer skills, proficient in the use of MS Word and Excel.
* Effective interpersonal and written and oral communication skills.
* Demonstrated commercial acumen and the ability to interpret and apply contracts.
* Demonstrated high level decision making, negotiation and influencing skills.
