Job Description:
We are looking for compassionate and experienced individuals to join our team as Support Workers to support our participant for Community participation. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering care and support tailored to the unique needs of each individual, empowering them to live more independently and lead meaningful, enriched lives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-on-one support to participants, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
* Assist with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks.
* Promote independence and self-sufficiency by encouraging and teaching life skills.
* Foster a safe and inclusive environment where participants can thrive.
* Maintain accurate and confidential participant records.
* Communicate effectively with participants, their families, and the care team.
* Respond to participant's unique needs and challenges with empathy and patience.
Qualifications:
* Cert III/IV in Disability or equivalent.
* NDIS Screening Check
* NDIS Induction Module
* NDIS Orientation Module
* Previous experience in a support worker role or a related field is preferred.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on others' lives.
* Ability to adapt to various participant needs and preferences.
* First Aid and CPR
