The Opportunity

The Eyre and Far North Local Health Network is seeking an experienced Team Leader (AHP3 or RN3) to provide operational leadership within our Community Mental Health Team on a full-time ongoing basis working Monday - Friday.

You will:

* Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, overseeing day-to-day responsibilities and supporting professional development.
* Report operationally to the Director of Mental Health, Eyre and Far North LHN, professionally to the discipline-specific Advanced Clinical Lead within Rural and Remote Mental Health Service (RRMHS), and be accountable to the Clinical Director RRMHS.
* Maintain close working relationships with Level 3 and 4 nurses, Associate Nurse Unit Manager (Level 2), Clinical Nurse (Level 2), and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
* Negotiate your own formal clinical supervision in line with the LHN's Allied Health Clinical Supervision Framework.
* Build strong, cooperative relationships with multidisciplinary staff, consultants, GPs, unit managers, external service providers, community organisations, and consumers.
* Occasionally step into higher positions where appropriate, supporting service continuity and regional capacity.

This is a hands-on leadership role where your expertise will influence both staff wellbeing and client outcomes, with real impact on the delivery of mental health care in the region.

* AHP3 $108,347 -$116,216 p.a. + 12% Superannuation + Salary Sacrifice Benefits + Leave Loading + Regional Incentives
* RN/M3 $125,183 - $130,779 p.a. + 12% Superannuation + Salary Sacrifice Benefits + Leave Loading + Regional Incentives

Community Mental Health

Working in the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network community mental health service involves providing recovery-oriented, person-centred care to address the multiple dimensions of an individual's well-being. Our multi-disciplinary team is made up of social workers, nurses, occupational therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, and support workers operating both in the community across the EFN region, and from our community mental health centre based at the Port Lincoln hospital. We are privileged to provide services to the Eyre and Far North communities, which are home to wonderful wildlife and offer beautiful wines and incredible seafood in a stunning environment.
