Position Summary As our Service Coordinator (NDIS, VHC, DVA) & Business Development Officer, you’ll manage the coordination of disability and veteran support services while also leading local growth initiatives across Townsville and surrounding regions. You will ensure quality and compliance in service delivery, build strong community and clinical partnerships, and support the expansion of Orange Health Care's presence in Northern Queensland. This is a dynamic leadership role requiring a balance of care coordination, compliance knowledge, stakeholder engagement, and rostering efficiency. Key Responsibilities Care Coordination (NDIS, DVA, VHC): Manage participant onboarding, intake, and assessments across NDIS, DVA Community Nursing, and VHC (Veteran Home Care) programs Develop and implement individualised support and care plans in alignment with funding requirements and personal goals Coordinate clinical, personal, and domestic services in collaboration with GPs, families, allied health, and internal teams Ensure documentation and service delivery meet national standards and legislative compliance Handle escalations, risk assessments, and critical incidents with sensitivity and professionalism Oversee care delivery for participants requiring high intensity supports or complex care Rostering & Service Delivery : Create and manage team rosters aligned to participant needs and program budgets Collaborate with HR and operations teams on recruitment and induction of support staff Provide ongoing mentoring and support to frontline workers Business Development & Community Engagement: Identify and secure new service referrals through relationships with hospitals, GPs and community groups Build and maintain strong professional networks with key stakeholders, government bodies, and referrers. Support local marketing initiatives and content development alongside the central team Track service metrics, monitor regional KPIs, and contribute to operational planning Contribute insights into service expansion opportunities across NDIS and veterans’ programs.
