Desk Based Business Development Manager - Home Lending

About the Position
We're on the lookout for a dynamic and motivated Desk Based Business Development Manager, based in Perth, to join us on our exciting journey of growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities
* Drive new business growth through existing referral networks to meet or exceed assigned sales targets.
* In-person and direct phone contact and liaison with brokers, selling the Firstmac product and providing accurate and in-depth assistance, training and information relating directly to their needs around lending products.
* Utilise and continually develop the CRM prospect database to identify sales growth opportunities and ensure all activities are recorded in the system to provide management with current results and trends.
* Conduct in-house training for new and existing Brokers and their staff, introducing new products and services and providing updated information about processes and policy requirements.
* Conduct regular analysis of referral partner results to identify opportunities for maximising business volume and increasing market share and maintain up-to-date knowledge and understanding of our full suite of products and services to enable a confident sales approach.
* Work with the aggregators to identify the key brokers that are looking to support Firstmac with quality business.
About You
You will have a minimum of 5 years' experience across financial services with at least 3 of these years in a sales capacity, in mortgage lending. A Certificate 4 in Mortgage Broking is preferred but not essential. You will have a solid understanding of third party distribution and all relevant legislation. Key to your success will be the ability to build and develop relationships with our broker network to achieve sales outcomes and present quick and workable solutions within a fast paced, high-volume environment.
