Moe (South Street) Primary School is centrally located in the township of Moe, in the Latrobe Valley, Gippsland, Victoria.
The school has a strong and proud reputation within the community and has a current enrolment of approximately 240 students.
South Street Primary School prides itself on building strong relationships with our students and families to ensure students are connected to their school and local community.
Our partnership with the Moe Early Learning Centre, located adjacent to our school, provides excellent ongoing services for families from birth through to high school.
We are also active participants in the Moe Southside Community User group, allowing for the shared use of recreational facilities at Ted Summerton Reserve.

Role Overview
An education support class position at this level performs tasks in accordance with guidelines, accepted practice, and school policy under supervision and direction.
Responsibilities may include coordination of other education support class staff, supporting educational services, and providing health and wellbeing support.

Provides routine support for teachers including assisting with planning student routines.
Supports communication between teachers and parents.
Communicates with teachers on routine matters related to students.
Provides basic physical care and wellbeing support for students such as toileting, meals, and lifting.
Supports student comprehension of basic tasks and information.
Addresses immediate behavioural presentations according to school policy.
Provides supervision for individuals or groups of up to 4 students.
Supports teachers in coordinating educational programs, rostering, organizing staff, liaising with external providers, and communicating student outcomes.
Provides medical intervention support with appropriate training.
Provides specialised communication support for students and teachers (e.g., AUSLAN, braille).
