Responsibilities
We are looking for a qualified health care professional with:
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
* At least one full year of experience as a Registered Nurse
* A current NSW Driver Licence.
Our Registered Nurses perform reception screening and comprehensive health assessments for all persons received into custody while assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing management.
Location
Macquarie Correctional Centre houses maximum-security male offenders and is a 10 minute drive from the Wellington town centre, 354km northwest of Sydney. It is located adjacent to the Wellington Correctional Centre.
Wellington area offers notable surroundings including caves, colonial heritage, tranquil gardens and a lake; activities include bushwalking, mountain biking in Mount Arthur Reserve and water sports on Lake Burrendong.
