Job Overview:
The position of Domestic Operations Manager is pivotal to business transformation and customer service strategy. This role has end-to-end responsibility for domestic operations across Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership: Lead a geographically dispersed team of managers responsible for branch and regional operations
Strategic Impact: Oversee the efficient, safe, and effective delivery of operations
Financial Management: Manage budgets to drive performance and efficiency
Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety systems and risk management frameworks
People & Performance: Drive cultural change and lead national operations
About You:
You are a strong leader with a passion for operational excellence. You're someone who can inspire, strategise, and deliver—comfortable making tough decisions, optimising performance, and driving cultural change across dispersed teams.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Logistics, or related field
Minimum 10 years' senior leadership experience in a similar operations role
Deep knowledge of logistics networks, depot operations, and linehaul/PUD performance metrics
