Key Roles and Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Concrete Transport Coordinator to join our team.
The role focuses on coordinating the daily concrete delivery schedule, balancing customer service, cost efficiency, and logistics planning.
Responsibilities include:
1. Commitment to safety standards with demonstrated leadership behaviors
2. Providing feedback for continuous improvement in delivery operations
3. Ensuring compliance with fatigue management and safety policies
4. Escalating and reporting on delivery issues or disruptions
5. Maintaining strong communication with drivers and site teams
6. Overseeing and adjusting schedules to meet customer demand and plant capacity
7. Working closely with plant and fleet staff to optimize logistics
8. Liaising with external customers to ensure accurate and timely dispatch
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
* Knowledge of WHS requirements
* Construction White card
* Prior experience in scheduling, dispatch, or logistics coordination
* Concrete or construction industry experience (desired)
* Sound computer literacy skills and willingness to learn new systems
* Excellent communication and organization skills
* Solution-oriented leadership abilities
