Our client, The Brown & Hurley Group Pty Ltd, is seeking skilled Spray Painters / Vehicle Painters to join their Service Department. The role involves preparing, painting, and finishing vehicles and components to a high standard while ensuring all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures and manufacturer specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Prepare vehicles and components for painting, including sanding, masking, filling, and priming
* Mix and apply paint using spray equipment to achieve required finishes
* Accurately match colours and apply clear coats and protective finishes
* Carry out refinishing, touch-ups, and rectification work as required
* Ensure painting work meets quality and manufacturer standards
* Maintain spray booths, tools, and equipment in a clean and serviceable condition
* Follow all workplace health and safety and environmental procedures
* Complete job cards and required documentation
* Work cooperatively with other workshop staff and assist with training where required
Skills and Experience
* Minimum 3 years' relevant experience as a vehicle painter or spray painter
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Assignment Locations
The successful applicant may be assigned to Kyogle (NSW), Coffs Harbour (NSW), or Caboolture (QLD), subject to operational requirements.
