ROLE SNAPSHOT: As the IT Field Technician you'll be providing onsite support & troubleshooting to various client sites across Sydney. It's a highly varied role ranging from general onsite Desktop Support through to project work including desktop, server, network, infrastructure and application deployments. A company vehicle is generally available for travel to client sites. Key elements of the role include: Attend client sites as required, ad hoc or scheduled. Provide onsite IT Support to clients to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve a broad range of technical issues across desktop hardware/software and network/server devices. Collaborate with internal IT teams to resolve complex technical issues. Take ownership of issues through the entire process whilst maintaining a high level of communication and attention to detail. Contribute to knowledge base articles (KBAs). Involvement in paid on-call afterhours support and overtime when required. Full time onsite role. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE / BACKGROUND / QUALITIES: Suitable for a highly personable Desktop / IT Support professional with proven experienced providing in-person technical support. Ideal for someone hands-on who does not want a 'desk job' and enjoys the variety of onsite field work where no 2 days are the same. The following is required: Proven in-person IT Support experience across desktop hardware/software, mobility, VC/AV, and network devices. Competent Microsoft 365 support experience (including AD, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint etc). Able to work independently with others in a flexible/adaptable manner. Display logical troubleshooting problem-solving abilities. Professional presentation with excellent people skills & customer service abilities. IT MSP experience and ITIL knowledge is advantageous. Interest ability to operate in a field role traveling to multiple client sites. Full driver's license. This is a full-time permanent role located in near Macquarie Park (while travelling to client sites) and is offering up to $80,000 super.
