Booragoon Primary School is seeking local adults who would like to spend time with a student once a week as a mentor.
Some students just need an extra adult in their week. Someone who listens, someone who encourages, someone steady.
Mentoring happens at school during school hours. It is one to one, quiet, purposeful, just one hour a week.
EdConnect provides all training and matches you with a student who would benefit from your time. No teaching experience needed. Just patience and a kind approach.
This is not a one-off role, but it is designed to work with your schedule. If you know someone else who is interested, you can both support the same school in different roles or classrooms.
