Financial Operations Manager
The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Main Responsibilities:
* Record Management: Record and process monthly journals and transactions efficiently.
* Cash Flow Management: Ensure accurate capture of accounts receivable, payable, and cash book entries.
* Tax Compliance: Prepare and lodge BAS, PAYG, and superannuation as per Australian regulations.
* Payroll Processing: Liaise with payroll service providers for weekly/monthly processing and record in the general ledger.
* Financial Reporting: Assist with month-end and year-end reporting, including liaising with external accountants/auditors.
* Asset Management: Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and ensure its integrity.
* Operational Efficiency: Monitor operational expenditure and maintain an optimal cash flow.
* Financial Planning: Support management with financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to ATO regulations and company policies.
