In Australia & New Zealand our growing business currently operates across three cutting-edge industrial bakeries in VIC, NSW and New Zealand, supported by four distribution centres in key locations and fuelled by the dedication and passion of our employees.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a proactive Distribution Supervisor to join the team at our brand-new plant opening in Nambeelup, WA (12 km from Mandurah, 60 km south of Perth).
This varied and hands-on role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient operation of the loading dock, managing product flow while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer service. This role is a full-time, permanent position in the dayshift, with availability required to work overtime and over the weekend when required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate day-to-day dock activities, including accurate counting and checking of product against production sheets.
* Ensure correct stock rotation, shelf-life allocation for customer runs, and proper despatch and documentation of bakery products.
* Create daily load sheets from delivery schedules provided by Customer Service.
* Liaise with the Production Team on variances and with the Stores Team to maintain adequate supplies.
* Manage 3rd party distribution partners servicing our customers.
* Oversee forklift, dock leveller, pallet, and crate management.
* Manage receipt of after-hours deliveries.
* Be hands-on in the loading bay, assisting with the loading and unloading of bakery products when required.

To be successful in this role you will bring:
* Previous experience in a similar dockhand or warehouse role.
* Forklift license
* Ability to work autonomously when required.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills; customer-focused.
* High attention to detail, ability to follow processes, and work autonomously.
* Strong commitment to safety and compliance at all times.
* Literacy and numeracy skills appropriate to role.
* Team player with effective communication and problem-solving skills.
* Physical capacity for heavy lifting of up to 25kg in a safely manner.
