Role Description
We're looking for a proactive and analytical Inventory Manager / Inventory Optimisation Lead to join our team in Melbourne, VIC. This is a full-time role where you'll oversee inventory control and optimise stock levels, making sure the right products are in the right place at the right time.
In this role, you'll go beyond managing stock. You'll use data and insights to forecast demand, spot trends, and make smarter decisions that keep our supply chain performing at its best. You'll work closely with Customers, Production, Procurement, Sales, Finance, and our 3PL partners, becoming the go-to expert for all things inventory.
This is your chance to combine hands-on inventory management with forward-looking optimisation, playing a pivotal role in driving Everest's growth ambitions and embedding operational excellence as the business evolves.
Qualifications
 * 3+ years' experience in inventory, supply chain, or materials management, ideally within FMCG, food manufacturing, or related industries.
 * Proficiency with ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics (or similar), plus advanced Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
 * Confident stakeholder management, with experience collaborating across Production, Procurement, Sales, Finance, and external 3PL partners.
 * Knowledge of food industry compliance standards (SQF/HACCP) highly regarded.
 * Proven ability to drive improvements that reduce waste, optimise stock levels, and enhance inventory efficiency.
 * Excellent communication and customer service skills.
 * Ability to work on-site in Melbourne, VIC.
 * Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
