We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Casual Educators to join our team at St Peter's Outside School Hours Care in Caboolture. St Peter's Outside School Hours Care has been a part of the community since 1990, operating from a dedicated space on the school grounds. At our centre, we provide before‐school care, after‐school care, and vacation care for up to 135 children, fostering a fun, safe, and engaging environment where children can learn and grow.
We are seeking individuals who love working with primary school‐aged children and are committed to supporting their development in a positive and nurturing atmosphere. A day in the life of an OSHC Educator includes:
* Providing nurturing care for children
* Ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming environment
* Creating fun recreational and educational experiences that are inclusive for all
* Maintaining positive working relationships with all team members
* Working collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
* Opportunity to attend fun excursions during vacation care
* Feeling excited to come to work to make a difference to the lives of children in our care
Job Requirements
* Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (ACECQA equivalent), or working towards one would be desirable
* Hold a current Queensland Blue (Working with Children Check)
* Candidates who have completed current Child Protection training are preferred (CHCPRT025, CHCPRT026, CHCECE057 or equivalent)
* A passion for the education and care of school‐aged children in a play‐based environment
* Effective workplace communication skills
