Carpenter – Ulladulla
Joss is a family owed business that has been operating for 50 years. We have experienced consistent and continual growth throughout this period and we remain highly regarded within the regional construction industry. We currently have multiple project opportunities in the Ulladulla area, and to support this, Joss Group is seeking the appointment of a full time, experienced, high-performing Carpenter to join our team.
You will play a crucial role the day-to-day operations of the project, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest quality and safety standards while working closely with the Site Manager, Project Manager, and Project Administrator
What you'll be doing
* Carrying out a range of carpentry tasks including installation, repair, and renovation of wooden structures, fixtures, and fittings
* Performing general property maintenance such as painting, plastering, tiling, and plumbing work
* Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with relevant building codes and safety regulations
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
What we're looking for
* Formal qualifications in carpentry or a related trade, such as a Certificate III in Carpentry
* 5+ years' experience delivering high-quality carpentry and maintenance services in a residential or commercial setting
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional workmanship
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
* A current driver's licence and reliable transportation.
An ability to read and interpret plans, plus undertake building set out based of these documents would be highly advantageous.
