About Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is a nature-based tourist destination and crown jewel of the National Trust of Australia (Queensland) properties.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Part Time liaison officer to support our Lost Valley and Wildlife team.
This role involves delivering an energetic, friendly, and professional customer experience for our guests in the Lost Valley aviary while ensuring the safety of the guests and animals.
Responsibilities include guest interactions, keeper talks, animal observations, and enrichment activities.
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering high-level friendly customer service
* Working in an outdoor environment in all weathers
* Substantial walking in a workplace with animals including birds and reptiles
* High energy, communication, and teamwork skills
* Flexibility and reliability with a positive 'can do' attitude
* Able to carry / support up to 10kg for a prolonged period
* Prepared to complete necessary training and immunisations
