A challenging role has arisen for an Infrastructure Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure planning and management team, you will play a vital role in developing solutions and prioritising outcomes relevant to our maintenance and capital works renewal and improvement programs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Engagement with stakeholders: Ensure alignment with community and organisational needs.
* Capital works planning: Assist with long-term renewal and upgrade plans, including road and drainage infrastructure design and maintenance principles.
* Traffic management solutions: Develop and implement effective traffic management strategies.
* Plan review and approval: Review and approve traffic management plans and issue necessary documentation.
* Inspections and reporting: Conduct regular inspections, audits, investigations, and prepare reports on findings.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Civil Engineering qualification: Completion of a degree program in civil engineering or a related field.
* Understanding of infrastructure principles: A solid understanding of road and drainage infrastructure design and maintenance principles.
* Project management skills: Ability to manage time effectively, analyse data, and prioritise tasks.
* Communication skills: Effective communication and liaison skills are essential for success in this role.
* Technical skills: Proficiency in CAD and Microsoft Excel software is required.
