 
        
        We are seeking a Café / Restaurant Manager to join our client at an upmarket hotel in Toowoomba, QLD on a permanent full-time basis. Candidates with Hospitality Management qualifications or equivalent experience are encouraged to apply. 
As a Café / Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for: 
- Planning menus in consultation with Chefs.
- Planning and organising special functions.
- Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods in line with budget.
- Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions.
- Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and remain clean, functional, and of suitable appearance.
- Conferring with customers to assess satisfaction with meals and service.
- Selecting, training, and supervising waiting and kitchen staff.
- Engaging with customers regarding concerns, complaints, and queries in a professional manner.
- Ensuring company policies, procedures, and values are followed by staff.
- Organising and allocating staff shifts.
- Monitoring and enforcing health and safety standards across the venue, educating staff as required.
- Ensuring compliance with OH&S;, Liquor Licensing, and other regulatory requirements.
To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate: 
- Formal qualifications with at least 1 year of relevant full-time employment experience; or in the absence of qualifications, a minimum of 3 years’ relevant employment experience.
- A solid focus on delivering efficient and effective customer service.
- Punctuality, strong leadership, and excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve business goals.
- Access to reliable transport.
