About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Health & Safety (WHS) Officer to support the ongoing safety and compliance needs of our team. This part-time position is ideal for someone seeking flexibility while playing a key role in maintaining a safe and supportive workplace.
You'll work closely with management and staff to identify risks, ensure compliance, and promote a strong safety culture through practical, hands-on involvement across our sites and operations.
Key Responsibilities
· Support the implementation and improvement of WHS policies, systems, and procedures.
· Conduct regular workplace inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
· Assist with incident investigations, reporting, and follow-up actions.
· Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, standards, and company obligations.
· Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and refresher training as required.
· Maintain accurate WHS records, registers, and documentation.
· Collaborate with managers and staff to drive continuous safety awareness.
About You
· Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum qualification).
· –5 years' experience in a WHS or Health & Safety Officer role.
· Solid understanding of WHS laws, regulations, and compliance practices.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of the organisation.
· Self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities and work independently.
· Practical, problem-solving approach to health and safety challenges.
· Confident in using systems, reports, and documentation tools.
