You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our business as a State Lead for Westpac's Broker Distribution. This is an opportunity to lead a high-performing frontline distribution team made up of Business Development Managers and Broker Support Officers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and coach a high-performing, State-based distribution team of Business Development Managers and Broker Support Officers to drive strategic growth and maximize broker engagement
* Drive strategic growth, home loan settlements, and NPS outcomes across the NSW broker channel
* Develop and execute targeted market activation strategies to engage brokers and create business opportunities
* Act as a senior point of contact for escalations and complex issue resolution between brokers, aggregators, and internal teams
* Build relationships with key aggregators and top-tier broker groups to drive sustainable business growth
* Embed operating rhythms, sales disciplines, and performance routines across the team for consistent execution
* Support capability uplift and career development through coaching, mentoring and performance management
* Champion a strong risk culture and ensure compliance with customer service and risk management frameworks
Requirements:
* Proven success in sales, coaching, and performance uplift, along with existing experience in Business or Retail Banking
* A credible network of established relationships with brokers
