Job Description for IP Network Architect
Core Responsibilities:

* Network Design and Implementation:
Architectural design, High level and low-level design of an IP network in telco industry
* Device Configuration and Management:
Solution design of connectivity and interworking of
routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
* Network Security:
Design and
Implementing network security policies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and network access control (NAC).
* Documentation and Standardization:
Documenting network configurations, procedures, and policies, and ensuring adherence to industry standards.
* Collaboration:
Working with other network designers, solution architects, and business stakeholders to ensure network requirements are met.

Knowledge and Skills:

* IP Protocol Knowledge:
A strong understanding of IP protocols, networking concepts, and technologies.
* Network Design and Architecture:
Experience in designing and implementing network architectures for various environments.
* Data Center
:
Data Centre fabric knowledge and experience in architecting including ACI, EVPN-VXLAN
* Security Knowledge:
Knowledge of network security principles and technologies.
* Communication and Collaboration:
Good communication and collaboration skills to work with other IT professionals and stakeholders.

Experience and Education:

* Education:
A bachelor's degree or Tertiary qualification in computer science, telecommunications, engineering, or a related field is often required.
* Certifications:
Industry certifications, such as Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP), can be beneficial.

Job Description for IP Network Engineer
