About the Roles
We are currently seeking collaborative and dedicated Secondary Years Teacher to teach in the below position:
* English and Media Studies - 1 FTE, Ongoing (Years 7-9)
The Classroom Teacher reports to the Principal of the College. They are primarily responsible for the well‐being of each individual student in their care and for the delivery of the Australian Curriculum through the IB framework using contemporary models of instruction.
Selection Criteria
* Teacher's registration to teach in Victoria
* Experience working in an International Baccalaureate (IB) school
* Qualifications supporting, and experience in, teaching the relevant subjects
* Commitment to the Christian Ethos of the College
* Have excellent relationship and communication skills

Good News Lutheran College is located in the suburb Tarneit, in the City of Wyndham which continues to be ranked as the fastest growing Local Government area within Victoria and the third fastest in Australia. Its estimated population by 2021 is expected to exceed 245,000, with 384,000 anticipated by 2036. Good News is located approximately 25 minutes west of Melbourne and 40 minutes northeast of the City of Greater Geelong. The College was established in 1997 and has been steadily increasing in size each year, reaching an anticipated capacity of 1500 by 2027. Current enrolments are 960 students spread across Prep to Year 12, in Junior (P - 5), Middle (6 - 9) and Senior (10 - 12) Sub-Schools, Good News commenced Middle Schooling education in 2011 with Year 7, began its Senior School (Year 10) in 2014 and progressed to its first Year 12 in 2016.
