Laboratory Technician
NES Fircroft is currently partnering with a global resourcing client within their mineral research and development team. They are seeking to source additional Laboratory Technician resources for their Perth-based team.

* Hourly rate of $45 + super, depending on background and experience

About You
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (material science, chemistry, or physics)
* Demonstrated experience in a laboratory environment in chemistry, mineral processing, electrochemistry, or materials science
* Excellent communication skills and a high level of initiative
* Proficiency in MS Office and analytical equipment software
* Currently located in Perth, WA, with full Australian working rights
Job Role
* Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis and sample characterization
* Maintain and clean laboratory equipment and supplies
* Conduct experimental testing and analysis, adhering to correct operating procedures
* Interpret data and report findings, maintaining records through data management software
* Support key stakeholders across the lab, including scientists, engineers, and the R&D team
* Assist in improvement and cost reduction projects
* Provide written and verbal reports to relevant teams
