The Demi Chef reports directly to the Sous Chef and offers an energetic and exciting hands‐on approach to flawless product execution in an environment focused on safety and culinary excellence.

A few of your responsibilities:
* Support or lead the assigned section as directed by the Sous Chef and provide training to junior staff members.
* Assist with fundamental cooking and food preparation tasks.
* Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workstations.
* Complete all duties in line with company and statutory hygiene requirements.
* Meet requirements for consistency and high quality in a fast‐paced environment.
What we are looking for:
* Experience working within fine dining venues, steak‐house desirable. Woodfire cooking highly desirable.
* Proficiency with diverse food preparation techniques and cooking equipment.
* Experience in signature dining settings, with strong communication skills and understanding of relevant liquor laws.
* Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

You are passionate and creative, willing to share your skills and expertise in guiding and shaping those who are new to a fast‐paced kitchen. With exceptional communication skills, you enjoy collaborating with colleagues and management as well as interacting with our customers. You bring a proactive, positive attitude to every task and are committed to consistently delivering high standards.
