FITT Resources undertake quality Gasket manufacture for an extensive variety of industries as well as supplying market leading sealing technologies into the same markets.
We currently have a vacancy for afull time Manufacturing assistantwith general workshop TA experience to join our Gladstone team. In this role you would be expected to:
* Operate machines used in the gasket manufacturing process – Training will be provided.
* Maintain a safe and clean working environment through good housekeeping.
* Assembly of gasket components
* Assist with packaging of orders for shipping.
* General tidiness.
* Other reasonable duties as directed.
To succeed in this role you will be a self-motivated individual, able to work autonomously or as part of team within a dynamic work environment. You will have a can do attitude, able to problem solve either individually or as part of a team effort to overcome challenges. Some other requirements are:
* Attention to detail.
* Responsible and reliable.
* Ability to work unsupervised safely
* Works to specified procedures.
* Prioritisation of duties and time management.
* Willing to work overtime as required.
* Some manual labour is necessary.
* Forklift and vehicle licences are desirable but not essential.
Experience in manufacturing processes or TA duties is preferred but not essential.
