Role Description
This is a full-time role based in Hobart, TAS with flexible and hybrid working options available. The Business Systems Analyst will play a key role in supporting and enhancing the business systems that underpin Tasmania's taxation, grants, licensing, and regulatory services.
In this role, you will work across analysis, system support, testing, content management, and hands-on user assistance. You will collaborate with system users, developers, and vendors to identify issues, design improvements, and implement solutions that strengthen essential services delivered to the Tasmanian community.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse business processes and system requirements to identify improvement opportunities
* Provide system support, troubleshooting, and user assistance
* Coordinate and conduct testing for system enhancements and updates
* Manage and maintain system content and documentation
* Work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors
* Contribute to system enhancements that support taxation, grants, licensing, and gaming regulation services

You have experience in business analysis or system support and can confidently communicate across both technical and non‑technical audiences. You bring strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and a willingness to engage in varied work, including system management, testing, content management, and user support.

Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience in business analysis, system support, or a related discipline
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

* Relevant qualification or equivalent experience (desirable)

Hours
Up to 73.5 hours per fortnight, with flexible arrangements available.
