We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented DBT Data Engineer for 6 months contract.
Qualifications
* Must have 5+ years of overall data engineering experience.
* 3+ years of hands-on experience with DBT is mandatory.
* Strong experience in data warehousing concepts and implementations.
* Solid experience working with AWS RDS and MySQL environments.
* Excellent SQL development and optimization skills.
* Strong SQL expertise with AWS RDS and MySQL.
* Proven data warehousing experience.
* Experience building, testing, and maintaining data transformation pipelines.
* Understanding of data modeling (dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas).
* Familiarity with Apache DevLake is preffered.
* Experience with Grafana dashboards and monitoring.
* Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
* Working knowledge of Python.
* Experience with code versioning tools (Git, Bitbucket, GitHub).
Role & Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain DBT-based data transformation models.
* Build and optimize SQL transformations on AWS RDS (MySQL).
* Support and enhance data warehouse architectures.
* Collaborate with analytics, product, and business teams to deliver reliable data models.
* Implement and support CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
* Monitor data quality, performance, and reliability.
* Document data models, pipelines, and best practices.
