As a Qantas Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), you will be responsible for performing aircraft maintenance and rectification according to manufacturers' and company specifications to a high standard. You will work with a range of specialist teams, enabling you to provide excellent engineering standards grounded in safety, quality, reliability, and service.
You'll have –
* Completed Certificate IV Aeroskills qualification (Mechanical or Avionics)
* Previous experience in a Line Maintenance environment is desirable
* Relevant aircraft maintenance (Mechanical or Avionics) trade experience
* Experience working on B738, A320, and/or A330 is desirable
* A proven commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to handle competing demands, especially under pressure and with multiple stakeholders
* Compliance with all Qantas safe working practices and service standards
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage demanding schedules effectively
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
* Flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as required
* Highly developed attention to detail
* Ability to work shift work
* An Australian driver's license
* Successfully pass a pre-employment medical
