About the Role
Are you ready to take the next step in your career? Our Corporate and International Tax team are seeking a Senior Consultant to join the team.
Our large and dynamic tax practice operates across Australia and offers access to premium clients and extensive training. You will be part of a collaborative team that takes a holistic approach to tax advisory work, covering all aspects of the Australian and international tax spectrum.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Undertaking tax due diligence assignments and transactional work
* Researching and drafting advice on complex technical matters
* Liaising with the ATOregardingclient matters
* Review of income tax returns and work papers
* Preparation and review of tax effect accounting calculations
* Helping to mentor and develop technical skills of graduates and junior staff
About you
To be successful you should have the following:
* DemonstratedCorporate Tax experience, ideallyworkingin the tax practice of a Big 4/mid-tier accounting firm
* Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting or Law (Taxation).
* Experienced level of tax compliance background, with a passion for improving your advisory technicalexpertiseand knowledge
* Strong communication skills
