As Lead Infectious Diseases Physician, you will provide high-quality patient care across Northern Tasmania.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert care for patients with infectious diseases, including inpatient and outpatient services.
* Lead the Antibiotic Stewardship Program, driving quality improvement initiatives and patient safety projects.
* Contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, with strong ties to the University of Tasmania Medical School.
* Optional: incorporate Clinical Microbiology duties.
Requirements:
* Fellowship training in Infectious Diseases (FRACP ID or equivalent).
* Demonstrated leadership in clinical and/or academic settings.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
* Commitment to teaching, mentoring, and continuous professional development.

Appointment Details:
Permanent, full-time (76 hrs/fortnight). Flexible part-time options negotiable. On-call participation required. Applicants may be considered for similar vacancies within 12 months.
