As an Engineering Manager in our Industrial Team based in Brisbane, you'll contribute to projects and programs that make a real difference and be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineer solutions with people and outcomes in mind.
What you'll do
* Advise clients on complex brownfield oil & gas and industrial engineering projects from concept to delivery.
* Lead multidisciplinary teams across EPC project phases including FEED, detailed design, construction, and commissioning to solve technical challenges.
* Deliver high-quality advice that informs decisions.
* Manage stakeholder interfaces including clients, contractors, and consortium partners to deliver successful project outcomes.
* Drive safety in design, technical assurance, and engineering governance across all project stages.
* Deliver high-quality engineering solutions, including shutdowns, plant expansions, and operational integration activities.
* Contribute to resilient and innovative engineering solutions.
* Apply advanced analytics and optimisation to enhance performance.
What you'll bring
* Relevant engineering qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, including Bachelor-level qualifications.
* Proven experience across oil & gas, petrochemical, refining, and metals industries.
* Extensive brownfield project experience including shutdowns, tie-ins, and plant integration.
* Proven leadership experience managing large multidisciplinary engineering teams and EPC delivery.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across clients and delivery partners.
* Chartered and registered engineer credentials (e.g., RPEQ, CPEng).
* A track record of delivering practical, impactful outcomes.
* Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* The ability to see the big picture and challenge assumptions.
