About the role
As a Design Technology and Vocational Education (DT & VET) Teacher Aide, you will:
Prepare workshops and classrooms for practical lessons
Manage equipment, materials, and stock, including ordering and inventory control
Set up, operate, and maintain tools, machinery, and workshop spaces
Assist teachers with classes and practical demonstrations
Support basic workshop tasks, including simple fabrication and maintenance
Ensure a safe, clean, and well-organised working environment
Receive, store, and manage deliveries of equipment and materials
Assist with stocktakes and resource organisation
Maintain departmental records, safety documentation, and registers
