Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our Finance and Controlling team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Accounts Payable and Receivable, supporting month-end close activities, preparing fleet billing, coordinating procurement processes, and maintaining strong collaboration with our Shared Service Centre to drive compliance and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform Accounts Payable & Receivable functions, including invoice processing and customer/vendor management
* Support month-end closing activities and assist with treasury tasks
* Collaborate with the Shared Service Centre overseas and respond to business unit queries
* Monitor and manage the finance team inbox, ensuring timely and accurate responses
* Assist Financial Analysts during internal and external audits (interim, year-end, etc.)
* Coordinate procurement processes, ensuring alignment with internal policies
* Provide guidance on purchase requisitions and contract workflows
* Ensure compliance with internal controls (ICS), company policies, and legal/regulatory standards
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including finance system upgrades and process automation
* Support project work as directed, with a focus on financial reporting and system implementation
Qualifications and Skills

* Advanced Excel skills
