**ROLE**
The Student Services Officer (Enrolment & Student Records) is responsible for the establishment and 
maintenance of student records and enrolments, and provide academic services in the 
implementation, record keeping and reporting of academic policy implementation at MIT Sydney 
campus. This entails maintenance of MIT Records Management System, the Provider Registration 
and International Student Management Systems (PRISMS), student files (hardcopy and softcopy) and 
assisting students with enrolments. The Student Services Officer (Enrolment & Student Records) will 
need to ensure students are provided accurate and timely advice in relation to enrolments, 
compliance, their timetables and general administrative queries.
The position reports to the Associate Director 
- OSAE. The appointee is expected to work both 
independently and within the team.

**MIT DEPARTMENTAL CONTEXT**
The Office of Student Administration & Experience (OSAE) is responsible for undertaking a range of 
activities in relation to student administration and enrolments. This includes:
- Providing advice and information to students in relation to enrolments, programs, credit
transfers, deferrals, student visa, academic transcript, and graduations 
- Managing and maintaining student records for students enrolled at MIT Sydney 
- Responsible for ensuring that MIT remains compliant with its operation of international 
- students in relation to the ESOS Act and the National Code- Liaising with the partner providers in relation to student enrolments, compliance and 
- general student administration- Responsible for organising enrolment activities at MIT Sydney 
- Providing enrolments data required for planning and policy development purposes.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
The Student Services Officer (Enrolment & Student Records) is responsible for the ongoing effectiveness and 
efficiency of student enrolments and student records management. This responsibility incorporates the areas 
set out below.
