The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Document Controller to support our project teams by managing and maintaining robust document control systems across multiple projects.
This is a critical, office-based role that ensures accuracy, compliance and accessibility of all project documentation, while supporting key project delivery milestones and quality standards through close collaboration with on-site teams.
Key Responsibilities
As Document Controller, your responsibilities will include:
* Coordinating all activities related to document control procedures, including technical documents, drawings and commercial correspondence
* Administering and managing document control systems and platforms, including ACC and Procore
* Conducting quality assurance checks on submitted documentation in line with TSL and client standards
* Monitoring drawing and technical submittal due dates against project milestones
* Managing and tracking Requests for Information (RFIs)
* Controlling the creation, review and approval workflows of project documentation
* Managing as-built documentation in collaboration with Project and Design teams
* Maintaining strict version control across all documentation
* Organising document storage to ensure efficient retrieval when required
* Ensuring document security, integrity and recovery processes are maintained
* Producing document control reports as required by the project and business
* Archiving documents and managing end-of-life disposal in line with procedures
For Senior-level candidates, additional responsibilities may include:
* Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of document control systems
* Reviewing and reporting on new document control tools, platforms and technologies
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
* Proven experience in a Document Controller role within construction, engineering or project environments
* Strong working knowledge of document control systems such as ACC and Procore
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams
* A proactive, structured and quality-focused approach to work
