The Role: This position can be considered either full-time or part-time and based in community services. You will be working with other OTs of varied experience levels and specialties. You will also be part of a larger multidisciplinary team across the hospital system. You will get to do the work you love with a supportive team. You will be responsible for providing occupational therapy services to a wide scope of clients with the opportunity to indicate your preference in type of work. This is a wonderful opportunity to gain experience in a variety of settings and expand your professional skills.
Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Healthe Care (NSW Private Hospitals) Health Professionals and Support Services Enterprise Agreement
Essential Criteria:
* Bachelor of Occupational Therapy/ MSc Occupational Therapy
* Current AHPRA registration
* Current police check
* Current WWCC
* NDIS worker screening
* NDIS worker orientation modules completed online
* Current NSW Driver's License

Mayo Private Hospital is part of the Healthe Care Group. Healthe Care operates the Mayo Private Hospital at Taree on the Mid-North Coast. The Mid-North Coast is home to uncrowded beaches, tranquil rivers and lakes, national parks and state forests. We are located approximately 1.5 hours north of Newcastle and 45 minutes south of Port Macquarie.
The Mayo Private Hospital is a 79-bed acute medical, surgical, rehabilitation and mental health facility. The hospital also provides community OT (Aged care, NDIS, DVA, private work), and SIRA – CTP and workers compensation injury management services through the Mayo Injury Management Service.
