Job Description
This role plays a vital part in the People and Culture team, working collaboratively across departments to champion our purpose of Growing Townsville and deliver the Corporate Plan in consultation with the community.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Provide assistance with the pre-employment screening process, including booking medical appointments, scheduling interviews, and other pre-screening checks related to the recruitment process.
* Offer comprehensive recruitment advice, service, and support that meets the needs of managers and supervisors, new employees, and existing staff.
* Assist in the development and implementation of recruitment procedures contributing to the achievement of performance plan objectives.
* Maintain accurate, accessible records for recruitment and related activities.
* Handle invoicing, raising purchase orders, and liaising with suppliers.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this position, you will have the ability to provide end-to-end recruitment services, including recommending suitable recruitment approaches to the organization. You should also possess excellent administration skills, allowing you to manage all recruitment and people services activities within agreed timeframes.
* Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Certificate IV qualifications in human resources or a related field, or applicable experience.
* Demonstrated ability to provide comprehensive recruitment advice and education.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
