The Position
Multiple opportunities available.
To assist in all aspects of the operation of the Albury Waste Management Centre.
Tasks and Responsibilities
* Assist in the coordination of an orderly approach to waste disposal by providing a high level of customer service and guidance to customers and visitors, direct and supervise waste disposal by public and contractors.
* General labouring duties as required.
* Operate all plant located at the Waste Management Centre in accordance with the manufacturers' requirements, licence conditions, WorkCover regulations and council policies.
* Perform daily checks on plant and machinery to ensure mechanical, safety and operational compliance.
* Operate and perform preventative maintenance on all plant located at the Waste Management Centre in accordance with the manufacturers' requirements, licence conditions, WorkCover regulations and council policies.
Qualifications and Experience
* Heavy Rigid Driver's Licence (compulsory to have and maintain).
* Front End Loader Licence or competency (compulsory to have and maintain).
* Excavator licence or competency (compulsory to have and maintain).
* Construction Induction Certificate.
* Experience operating large plant and equipment.
* Experience working in a civil construction environment.
Hours
Based on 38 hours per week, working 38 hours across a 7‐day spread, with actual days and times being worked in accordance with facility roster.
